Things of note:

David apparently sharing a drink with Holloway (he's chatting candidly with him at least) - is that a Xmas tree we see in the background?

David asks Holloway what he'd be willing to do after coming this far.

Holloway replies: "Anything and everything" - this could tie in with many assertions that Holloway is bad news

Janek suited up with a flamethrower and looking badass

Interesting reveal where we see David with some blood or black goo on his fingertip which ties in with his "Big Things Have Small Beginnings" line:

Charlize with the flame thrower, is clearly not letting Holloway back on the ship, also black goop reminds me of that episode of tales from the crypt i dig it. :)

That black goo is coming from the tops of the ampules. This video really reveals a lot about the ampules!

Has there been any talk of the "goo" as possibly a seeding device for life on planets that SJ visits? Perhaps that the alien as we know it is an evolution of this goo/worm infiltrating and changing one of this crew's DNA?

Either way, I am super happy that I haven't been able to figure ANYTHING out even though we have been shown quite a lot.

when you pause the actual video, they're not touching the goo, they're actually lifting the "eel" creature out of it!

Me neither, Zavulon. I've seen every trailer and leaked video there is, speculated upon speculated, but I'm still not really sure what I'm going to see. This uncertainty will fade slightly once the rating is decided, but even then, I'm willing to bet I'll be surprised when I go and see it. On top of that, I'll be wowed, because Ridley's films always look good and this once promises to look his best: 48fps and in 3D with Epic Red cameras. It's gonna be good.

The pools of black liquid were mentioned in one of the magazine articles (maybe Empire?) apparently there are several of them in a huge cavern.

The first few lines of the video sound like they are spoken by Weyland himself.

Where do we come from?
What is our purpose?
We're so close to answering the most ????? of questions.

I'm also wondering whether the black goo is biomechanical 'evilness' and it makes it way into the urns to infect the samples within, turning ordinary creatures into monsters. That might explain the spiral structures in the top of the dome, the black evil goo is in the atmosphere, it rains on the domes and is funneled down into the monolith room where it drips onto the urns. Just a giant monster factory really.

“Trailer starts with a clip of Ripley from Alien and the words “What if the beginning” and then we see the mouth of the Xenomorph “Wasnt the beginning” or something like that. Then theres this shot of like a giant waterfall on some planet I don’t know what the planet was and a ship traveling to it.

Then we see like two cloaked people talking to eachother near the waterfall or something and theres a voice over from who I’m guessing is Noomi Rapace and she says something like: “A woman once told me a story of how man was created” then we see this giant human like creature thing (which im guessing is the Space Jockey thing from Alien but I’m not sure) Voiceover: “First there was the sun” and we see this giant oval alien ship covering the sky. Voice over ” And the sun said I’m alone and I have noone to shinedown on so it created man” and another shot of the giant space jockey thing. and then theres like shots of the crew on the space ship traveling to that planet

You see like a quick shot of Noomi Rapace and and the rest of the crew and a bunch of stuff is happening they’re all in their space suits running around with theyre flame throwers and stuff and theres this epic shot of this giant space station thing that looks like droid control ship from Star Wars Episdoe 1 falling down through the sky and the words

FROM THE DIRECTOR OF ALIEN come up and more shots of the crew in the ship running from explosions and stuff. Theres a shot of a green laser scanner thing running through a woman’s belly some more stuff then theres a quick shot of something bursting out from the space jockey thing.

And the last shot of the trailer is a close up Michal Fassbender in his space suit looking down at a kid face to face and he holds up a finger and he says “Big things have small beginnings” then the title comes up PROMETHEUS 6.8.12

I marked out at Fassbender that was a cool line, great teaser trailer it should be hitting theatres within the next month or so maybe I can’t wait”

I like that the hanger is a "common" space where many things occur; meetings, basketball etc. Stresses the limited size of the ship. The crew is big; I hope they're not all just Jockey fodder.
