The Prometheus/Alien box set details confirm the inclusion of many extras that Prometheus fans have long anticipated for such as Spaihts’ original Untitled Alien Prequel draft, deleted/alternative scenes, the extended Weyland TEDTalk video, and much more.

Also there are 6 discs dedicated to the original four Alien films. But since we already have the Alien Anthology box set, we’ll be waiting for the release of that Prometheus-only disc set, right?

Confirmation of (15 minutes of?) deleted/alternative scenes, extended version of Weyland's TEDTalk speech, and Spaihts' UAP script all included.

"The offer to Elizabeth Shaw" could be an extended version of the Quiet Eye video.

"Prometheus Transmission" is probably violin girl.

I thought they would wait for the sequel to come out (or it was decided not to do the sequel) before doing a full combined boxset of Prometheus and the Alien series. I guess Fox thinks they can put out a whole new combined boxset every time a new Prometheus sequel comes out.

It says 150' of bonus material, it might apply to the additional material, not the length of the film itself.

Edit:

I think that means 150 minutes of bonus material on Disc 1 besides the 2D version of the film.

Holy shit I hope so but I already have the Alien Anthology Blu-Ray I hope Prom has a self release of the 150 minutes

Hopefully the American release will be the same day... and then by the time that's done, there's the ominous date a week and day later.

Yeah, I'm not sure if the (150' Bonus) means a 150 minute film plus bonus material or film plus 150 minutes of bonus material.

Even Ridley Himself said that there was 27 minutes of cutscenes to be in the Blu-Ray but not in the Movie itself leads to him bullshitting us because in another interview he said there was an hour of cut scenes that was omitted for the theatrical release so I think possibly we are gonna get our Directors cut of the movie, I hope so , This would be Epic !!!

It looks like the Disc 3 ('Bonus complementary Prometheus') is only included in this set, the US Prometheus 3D or 2D Blu-ray releases don't have a bonus disc as far as I can tell.

No, that was never the BluRay/Dvd release date
It comes after, which is what led to all the speculation.

Ridley Scott said the Special Edition extended edition will be 20 minutes longer with 30 minutes of deleted scenes in the disk menu. Did he lie to us or is he keeping that version for 25 years?

Hhmmm. The bonus material listed such as the 4 viral videos, "Tests of Noomi Rapace", and "Pre-visualization" add up to way more than 30 minutes (where 119 minutes is the run time of the theatrical cut excluding credits). Meaning the "bonus" in the 150 'bonus could merely indicate there are bonuses. Thus, this 150 ' business could be 150 minutes of the director's/special edition cut.

Of course, the "bonus" in (150 'bonus) could be an entirely different bonus feature not listed :p

It also says there is a 120' audio commentary by the director on Disc 1. That should sync up with the film itself so I would think the 2D film on Disc 1 is actually 120'. Perhaps the 119' was rounded up.

There is a Download: qualifier as the first entry under Disc 1. Some of the extra things could be downloadable from the net and the disc gives access to that material. In particular that probably applies to this:

There's the disc 4 listing that says Audio commentary by Ridley Scott (on theatrical version only) which implies the Director's Cut is a given feature on Disc 4 as well :p

Having looked up the Alien Anthology set on Amazon earlier, the same description is given. Maybe people who actually own this set can confirm the DC is included.

I think Fox would probably put out the theatrical cut first then wait 3 to 6 months at least before putting out anything like an extended or director's cut of Prometheus. That way they make more money.
