Might be the understatement of the day, lol. Also found this very interesting. "Weyland has searched far and wide to find the most skilled, dedicated and exceptional professionals to contribute their expertise to the mission. These are the people who will build a better world for us all."

You can see the resemblance to World War SS uniforms from Germany in this pic. The comparison is strongly hinted at with Weyland corp. Blonde hair, blue eyes, light green jacket and the logos.

A Weyland ID would've been more fun to have than Project Prometheus (if only because it's more "universal" in its nerdom applicability)... and the picture of Charlize is worth drooling over.

The blonde thing is just because David loves Lawrence of Arabia so much lol. As for the costume, maybe maybe not.

wouldn't it be awesome if a spin off Television series was created which explored this fictional worlds and its terraformed planet. mabye a series following the exploits of a Weyland terraforming crew? with the engineers footprints being a common entity

What is with the Purina symbol used on astro stuff? You see it all the time in sci fi films, like on the doors in Prometheus/Alien, the craft from Sphere, and others.

What is with the checkerboard thing?

I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with Purina, as it is mainly just a simple geometric symbol - a relatively common symbol.

Read or heard somewhere that it was a joke on the set of Alien about how the humans are alien chow.
